Congratulations to Mike and Mary Angulo on their retirement on Friday 17 February from the Directors and Staff of South West Event Hire Ltd. Having supplied catering equipment for hire in the Yeovil area of Somerset for over 10 years, I am sure they will be looking forward to a much more restful summer this year.

We are very pleased to be able to support their ex customers in the Yeovil area and throughout Somerset from our base in Martock, which is very close to the old Britannia Catering Sales Ltd warehouse, in Pen Mill Trading Estate, Yeovil.

Examination Table Hire

South West Event Hire stocks a large supply of square tables for hire that are ideal for formal examinations by University, College and School exam boards. Each table folds flat for easy transportation, but also includes a locking system to hold them firmly in position when in use for the student. The tables are 2’6″ x 2’6″ square and have a varnished wooden top. The tables are supplied clean and free from any marks from previous students. We can also supply large, or small quantities of chairs in a number of different styles and costs to complement the tables if necessary.

We can deliver the tables to your venue, or you can collect them directly from our warehouse. The tables and chairs are available for short term, and long term hire.

Village Hall Make over for Party, or Wedding Reception

Here is an example of a 1970′s Devon village hall, that was turned into a stylist contemporary PTFA summer ball venue, using our hire equipment. That morning the hall was being used as a badminton court, but in the evening it was a fabulous dining venue and helped raise a large amount of money for the local Primary School.

Our ice chairs were used with black seat pads, along with black napkins, classical china, wine glasses, round tables, and quality Harley cutlery hire. New Wedding Ideas for 2012 Bride & Groom’s

We hire tables, chairs, and a very wide selection of catering equipment to about 40 -50 wedding reception’s every week in the wedding season and numerous parties, corporate events and weddings during the rest of the year, but I have never thought of this, as a pre wedding event. Our local hairdressers in Exeter are now offering this foot service for Bride and Groom’s, or may be just the girls before your big day!

Having the dead skin eaten by live fish is in my opinion a very unusual pre-wedding idea to me, but I must be getting old. The girl’s in the hairdressers are very enthusiastic, and I am sure they will do a fantastic job in pampering your feet and giving you a lovely time. I wonder if you can select the fish that go in the tank for the future mother in law?

What happen’s if the Bride and Groom, decide to have a his and her feet done together, if the guy turn’s out to be  a big wimp, and starts giggling and falling off his fish tank seat! Or kills the fish? So I am sorry to say we can’t hire you a fish tank for your wedding, but if you need tables, chair’s, china, cutlery, cookers, or even the kitchen sink to hire fore your wedding, we can come to your assistance.
